Crowd Control

QSPG have highly qualified staff available for crowd control functions.  If you are hosting a party or a function at a local venue that can be great fun however, you will hope that your guests will remember the event for all the right reasons!

What is your responsibility?

Find attached some tips that we send to each person who requests a quote for a party.  It is packed with ideas and tips about your responsibilities as the host.

It is important to QSPG that the host works closely with security providing us with a guest list (house party) if possible.

The Law

Crowd control officers are highly trained and required by law to possess a vaid Crowd Control licence. This specific training educates security officers about handling large crowds of people, basic RSA (Responsible Service of Alchohol) training, basic detainment techniques and safe removal of persons from a premises.  QSPG will notify the local authorities on your behalf if you are having a function and you secure our services for the event.  We have a good rapport with local police and hope this gives you piece of mind.

The service

QSPG reserve the right to gather as much information as possible about your function.  Due to the recent negative publicity private parties have generated, security companies are extremely cautious about the duty of care to their staff.  If you decide to use QSPG to secure your special event, you will be emailed a Party Safe information pack also a guest list template.  QSPG will decide how many guards will be required for your event, this will depend on the number of guests.  If there is an emergency at your function we have a Guards Supervisor who handles all on-site emergencies.
